About Nexus Notabu

We built the expansion partner we always wished existed

After years of watching good companies stall at the border, with strategy in one firm, structure in another and hiring nowhere, we built one partner who stays from the first market assessment to a running local team.

Our mission

Make expansion clear, and strategic from the start

Expanding abroad feels complicated because it is usually handled piece by piece. Answers come from several advisors, none of whom see the whole picture, and by the time the work begins the plan has drifted from the decision behind it.

Our first job is to make it clear: what expanding into your markets actually involves, in what order, and what it takes. Then we build the strategy and the structure together from day one, so the entry is a deliberate plan rather than a series of reactions. Strategy, legal, tax, talent, and office sourcing stay with one team for the whole set-up, and the local partners who take over the day-to-day are ones we already work with.

How we're different

Advice and delivery, coordinated by one team

Most consultancies stop at the recommendation. Most implementation shops can't set the strategy. We do both, and we coordinate the delivery ourselves, because the team that designs your entry is best placed to see it through.

One team, one point of contact, one plan running from the first assessment to a live local operation. And when it is live, you're not left to find an accountant or payroll provider on your own. You inherit ours.

Who we are

Every part of an expansion, covered by someone who has done it

We know what expanding abroad takes, step by step, including the steps most companies find out about too late. Every part of it is covered by people who have done it before, either in our own team or through the partner network we've built market by market.

Tax & accounting

C-level finance experience

Our tax and accounting side is led by people who have held C-level finance roles. They know which cross-border structures hold up in practice, and what each one costs to run.

Strategy

Consulting-grade market entry

Strategists trained at top-tier firms who take the research all the way through to a costed, sequenced plan you can act on.

Big tech

Ex-Google marketing strategy

An ex-Google marketing strategist who has taken products into new markets at scale, and knows what it takes to win customers in an unfamiliar one.

Industry knowledge

Every step accounted for

Years inside tax, accounting, and advisory mean we know what each market will ask for, and when. Nothing is left to be discovered at the deadline.

Partner network

A curated network, Big4-trained

The local firms we hand you to are chosen market by market for reliability and price, many of them Big4-trained.

On the ground

People who work in the market

Recruiters, lawyers, and accountants who live in the market and know how it really works, not a central desk reading about it.

What we believe

Four things we stick to

One team, not five

Expansions fail in the gaps between advisors. Keeping the work in one place means there are no gaps.

Build it once, use it everywhere

A structure built for one market rarely fits the next. We design for the markets you'll enter later, not only the first.

Do things at the same time

Running the legal, tax, and hiring work side by side instead of one after another is the difference between entering this quarter and next year.

Use people who live there

Every market has its own rules, timelines, and habits. We use people who work in the market, and the accounting and payroll firms we pass you to are local and vetted.
